Snowshoeing / Raquetas de Nieve en Valle de Tena

I'm going to Valle de Tena, to enjoy a weekend of easy snowshoe tours. My plan is to do two easy snowshoe hikes. If you think you can do them, you can come with me.

Activities summary for Saturday and Sunday:

• Difficulty: EASY
• Distance: 12-15 km.
• Estimated duration: 4-6 hours (with breaks)
• Accumulated elevation gain: approx +400-600 m.
• Suitable for Pets: NO
• Suitable for children: YES, if they are able to walk that distance
• Weather forecast: available one week before
• GPS route: I will send them privately

Considerations. Be sure to bring the following:

• Hiking shoes / boots
• Warm and waterproof clothing
• Food for Saturday lunch (and fruit, nuts, etc...)
• Water (minimum 2 liters)
• Snowshoes and poles (you can rent snowshoes in various stores in Barcelona and bring them with you)

If you do not bring the appropriate material you will not be able to come.

Activities may vary depending on weather and snow conditions.

Weekend plan:

• We will stay at the Yebra de Basa hostel on Friday and Saturday nights. See below the types of rooms available.
• The reservation includes accommodation and breakfast on Saturday and Sunday.
• The hostel does not serve dinner. Dinner on Friday must be organized by the occupants of each car. For Saturday's I will book at a restaurant in the area for those who are interested (it can cost between 25-40 EUR for dinner, apart from accommodation).
• For lunch for Sunday, everyone has to organize it for themselves, although if there are enough people interested, I can ask for a budget to make us picnic bags (calculate around 10 EUR apart from the reservation).
• Refund policy: 100% if you cancel up to 15 days before the activity. 50% up to 7 days before (except if someone replaces you, in which case it would be 100%). 0% during the last 7 days (except if someone replaces you).

Once you join the event, I'll send you a message with the payment details. I will share the routes a week before the activity.

You cannot sign up for the event, if you do not want to stay the whole weekend or you do not want to be in the same accommodation.

We will go by car. The fuel costs (estimated 180 EUR/car from Barcelona) will be divided among the passengers (the driver does not pay, therefore it comes out to 60 EUR per passenger). The driver is responsible for requesting this money from the passengers.

SUITABLE FOR BEGINNERS: Being in decent shape is a must. The routes will not be short, but neither will they be excessively long.

We will not wait at the meeting point for more than 15 minutes.
