Beach Day!

BIG CYPRESS CHAPTER GATHERS TOGETHER FOR A BEACH GATHERING AT VIRGINIA KEY BEACH. THE GATHERING starts at 10:00am. We will share a potluck lunch on the beach. There are two wood tables and benches under the chickie hut. We recommend you also bring a beach chair for yourself. We will also have a badminton tournament as well as a beautiful 3 mile hike on the beach along Virginia Key Beach. (hike can be much longer for any group looking for a longer hike) Directions: Drive onto Virginia Key. Pay for entrance fee ($8.00 per car) at your first turn, go right Drive until end of park to the public beach. This is referred to as The North Point Park. Drive inside and our tables under a chickie hut will be near the volleyball net. Parking is free and you can park on either side of this park which is on the beach.
