Buciero hike in Santoña

Jose has kindly offered to show us this gorgeous hike, considered by many as one of the most beautiful in the north of the country.

The "Buciero", also known as the "Gibraltar of the North" covers an astonishing area in the coastal town of Santoña, Cantabria.

For those setting off from Bilbao, it will take about 1 hour to drive there. There is also a bus service leaving from Intermodal Bus Station arriving in Santońa (Alsa buses). The meeting point is El Fuerte de San Martín in Santoña's park.

You will need to bring some snacks and drink as we will stop along the way for a rest and a picnic.
