The Bull Run Mountains Natural Area Preserve near Haymarket, VA, offers a little less than 6 miles of trails and we'll cover the majority of them. In the process we'll gain about 700 feet of elevation with plenty of Spring flowers to view! Our route will consist of two loops. We'll start with the eastern loop proceeding counter-clockwise. Near the end of that loop, we'll have completed about 2.5 miles. We'll then proceed with the western loop, again counter-clockwise for three miles before we return to our cars. Expect mud, it is Spring!
