C++ Conan (the barbarian)

Package management has been the piece missing in the C++ puzzle from the very beginning, pulling back C++ adoption in many scenarios. The aim of Conan is to fill this gap. In this talk we’ll see how Conan improves the developer experience consuming existing packages, and how developer teams can make their own libraries into Conan making it a suitable tool to handle all the dependencies for a C++ project at any scale.

In this talk, we will have Javier G. Sogo, a Senior Software Developer at JFrog / Conan. After more than 10 years of programming in C++, Javier decided to tackle the hardest problem he had encountered: dependency management. He joined JFrog to develop Conan, the C/C++ package manager, with the aim of alleviating that pain.
