Let's play chess in San Jose! We're a small group of chess enthusiasts, ranging from beginner to advanced, and we're always looking for new members!

Compared to many chess groups the environment here is very relaxed — it's basically half a social group. Hang out, play some chess, make friends, and have fun!

This is the location in North San Jose, close to 237. We meet in the back of the restaurant. Look for people with chess sets. Note that many regulars do not RSVP — we tend to have between 6-12 people recently.

Many of us stay until closing at 9. Feel free to drop in or out at any point between those times.
