Join us in celebrating the upcoming Lunar New Year with a tea tasting by Tile Cat Tea House and mahjong games by Lucky Bamboo Mahjong Club! This event has an outdoor seating option so please bring a hat, sunglasses, and/or sunscreen, if needed

For $8, you can drink unlimited amounts of tea and learn about the different types of Chinese tea, their origins, and traditional Gongfu tea ceremony methods. Tile Cat Tea House will be pouring their hand-picked selections of diverse teas from female tea farmers in China’s Yunnan province. There will be tea leaves and ceramic teaware for sale. Single-servings of tea will also be sold by the cup. This option will not guarantee a seat at the mahjong tables or a mahjong lesson, though you may play if a seat is available.

Transportation: There are several popular LA Metro bus lines, as well as the metro lightrail, that service Chinatown Plaza that will drop you off on the same block as our club.

Parking: The most affordable parking spot is $5 at Mandarin Plaza (986 N Broadway, Los Angeles, CA 90012). They close at 10 PM. An additional parking lot is on Broadway next to Wonder Bakery. Metered street parking is free after 8 PM.
