¡Únete a nuestro primer encuentro de costura, reparación, upcycling y moda sostenible!

Estamos creando una comunidad para personas que valoran y conectan con su ropa: que prefieren reparar en vez de desechar, reutilizar antes que reemplazar, y elegir segunda mano, comercio justo o hecho a mano en lugar de fast fashion.

Qué haremos

• coser, remendar, transformar y crear lado a lado
• ayudarnos mutuamente con dudas e ideas
• charlar sobre moda sostenible, medioambiente y textiles
• el encuentro es bilingüe, hablamos español e inglés

Qué traer

• un proyecto de costura o reparación que puedas transportar
• cualquier herramienta que prefieras (aguja, hilo, descosedor, etc.)
• ¡energía positiva!

Qué ofrecemos

• herramientas básicas compartidas (agujas, hilo, tijeras)
• una o dos máquinas de coser para demostraciones rápidas o arreglos sencillos
• apoyo básico para principiantes
• un ambiente creativo y acogedor

Así que trae un proyecto en el que te apetezca trabajar - coser, reparar o reutilizar (upcycling) - y creemos juntxs.

¿No sabes qué traer? Ven con alguna prenda u objeto textil que te gustaría reparar o transformar y lo pensamos juntxs. ¡Todos los niveles son bienvenidos!

Nos reuniremos en Multiprecio Coworking, que muy amablemente nos ha cedido el espacio y una mesa grande donde podremos sentarnos cómodamente y trabajar en compañía.

Join us for our very first sewing, repair, upcycling, and slow fashion meetup!

We're building a community for people who value and connect with their clothing - who repair instead of discard, reuse before replacing, and choose secondhand, fair trade, or handmade over fast fashion.

What we'll do

• sew, mend, upcycle, and create side by side
• help each other with questions and ideas
• chat about slow fashion, sustainability, and textiles
• connect over our shared interests
• the event is bilingual, so we speak Spanish and English

What to bring

• a portable sewing or repair project
• any tools you prefer (needle, thread, seam ripper, etc.)
• positive energy!

What we'll provide

• basic tools to share (needles, thread, scissors)
• one or two sewing machines for quick demos or simple fixes
• some guidance for beginners
• a friendly, creative atmosphere

So bring a project you’d like to work on - sewing, repairing, or upcycling - and let's create together. Unsure what to bring? Come with an item you'd like to repair or upcycle, and we'll brainstorm together. All levels are welcome!

We'll meet at Multiprecio coworking, who have kindly provided us with space and a large table where we can sit comfortably and work together.
