Most human-made emissions, deforestation, and pollution come from companies. If we can't hold them accountable, we will lose the battle against environmental destruction.

This event marks the beginning of a movement that will investigate and disclose the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) impact of corporations on a global scale.
Come if you want to connect with like-minded people who want to solve the problem at its root.

The organization:

Climate Accountability API is a nonprofit and one of the largest providers of open APIs for planetary climate indicators, powering thousands of applications globally. We're now building something more challenging: a transparent, open ESG information system that consolidates what companies disclose, what they omit, and what independent regulators say instead.
We will bring our findings to the public, giving them the power to take action. If we get it right, it will encourage companies to adopt more sustainable practices, accelerating the green transition.
The prototype works. We launch in early 2027. We need journalists, sustainability researchers, software and data professionals, designers, fundraisers, and people from fields we haven't thought of yet.
Come find out what we're building and how you could be part of it.
