DAX Workshop - Session 1: Basics

Hi Power BI enthusiasts,

we'll finally bring you the long-awaited DAX workshop, starting October 7. We're thinking about doing two more follow-up sessions, each one focusing on a few aspects of our favorite language DAX.

The first session will cover the basics: How does DAX work, what's the difference between Calculated Columns and Measures, how to use variables, tackle our friends CALCULATE and FILTER, as well as share some best practices.
Later, we'll focus on e.g., Time Intelligence, Data Modeling, and some other topics you requested in the survey.

We'll provide the file, that we'll use along the way, so you can try out the things we do on your own.

As usual, session will take place via MS Teams at 7 PM (UTC+2), though due to the workshop nature, we will probably not record it this time, at least not the full session.
