Let’s soak up some winter sunshine and get outside before the holidays. We’re doing the Green Mountain Loop — a hike with open mesa terrain, great views of the city and foothills, and manageable winter-weather conditions.
We’ll go easy-to-moderate pace and enjoy the scenery! This one should be good for all skill levels. I would bring spikes!

• Estimated Time: ~2–2.5 hours
• Why It Works in Winter: Open terrain gets good sun exposure, so trails tend to stay less icy than wooded areas. Just bring traction gear if things get slippery.
