We're thrilled to see our community grow, and we’re back to celebrate more of the talent making Madrid’s tech scene so special.
Our next stop takes us into the world of FinTech. We are thrilled to be hosted by Adyen at their stunning Madrid office filled with big ideas!
This English-language session features Ella, a member of the Zooplus team, who teaches us more about accessibility.

Control Technology Before It Controls You
Speaker: Ella Polo – Software Engineer @ Zooplus
Imagine reading an email with your feet, writing code with your voice, and editing videos with your eyes. It's hard to picture, so I will show you my setup: foot pedals, voice control, and an eye tracker.
Why not just use a mouse and keyboard?
I am one of many that find conventional ways of controlling technology painful or even impossible. In the back of our mind, we know already it is making us sick: repetitive strain injuries, chronic pain, headaches, and stress. At the same time, many people are excluded entirely from the digital world due to physical or mental disabilities. So why do we keep working this way? I share this not to cause anxiety, but to connect and rethink what’s possible. Join us in reimagining how we control technology.
