Android Custom Controls and Canvas

Description:
In this talk, we will learn what are custom controls in Android, which are the benefits and how to create them (from simpler ones to totally customized, complex ones).
Also, we will understand what Canvas is and how it's used to create custom controls, including how to simplify its use by leveraging Android KTX libraries.

Xavier Rubio Jansana is a mobile engineer with experience in Android, iOS and hybrid apps.
He started playing with mobile devices back on Palm OS platform, and trough the years he has worked on a variety of platforms, including Pocket PC / Windows Mobile, Windows Phone, J2ME and BlackBerry OS. Currently, he's leading the mobile team at Toro Development as his Head of Mobile.
