SDN meetup (VII)

Detalles
Hi all,
We are happy to announce a new SDN and Network Programmability meetup in Barcelona.
This time we will have in the stage Paolo Lucente (https://www.linkedin.com/in/plucente/), creator of PMACCT (http://www.pmacct.net/), who will share with us what this tool is about and how you could leverage on it to bring SDN up to your network, and Daniel Caballero (https://www.linkedin.com/in/danicaba/) who will show us how to improve your application CI/CD by validating how many concurrent TCP sessions it will support with tcpgoon (https://github.com/dachad/tcpgoon)
pmacct is a small set of multi-purpose passive network monitoring tools. It can account, classify, aggregate, replicate and export forwarding-plane data, ie. IPv4 and IPv6 traffic; collect and correlate control-plane data via BGP and BMP; collect infrastructure data via Streaming Telemetry. Each component works both as a standalone daemon and as a thread of execution for correlation purposes (ie. enrich NetFlow with BGP data)
Does bringing l4 concerns to application delivery flows make sense at all? Using a real world example (high volume/performance images transformation @ schibsted), we will see why you may mitigate configuration issues by introducing tcpgoon
For future meetups, your presentations are welcome, so we encourage you to submit one here (https://goo.gl/forms/kdhdzlGqbzxweWtR2).
