Deep Listening x Improv - a hybrid workshop in embodied creativity

This first-time event is a very special hybrid workshop, and is the inaugural offering from the Embodied Creativity Lab, an experimental project resulting from a new collaboration between two dedicated practitioners and mentors, founders Elisa Ciraci from Recreative Resolution and Ali Champlin of Studio Cazimi. Ali brings 11 years of embodied listening practices and is a certified Deep Listening® facilitator, and Elisa is an expert facilitator in theatrical improv, relational listening, and certified in the Lego Serious Play® methodology. In this blended, dual workshop, you’ll have a deep dive into embodied creativity through Deep Listening, sonic meditations, movement, play and improvisation. Ali & Elisa will lead you through the foundations of their practices and develop a space to explore how your creativity can flourish when it is centered in the body and the senses, focused on listening and responding, and in service of community.

While zero experience is necessary and this is a workshop for everyone, it is an exceptional opportunity for composers, performers, and improvisers of all kinds to expand their practices with powerful modalities.
