Photography Walk

"Hola!"

It's August! Everyone seems to disappear on holiday this month - and many more come here to Barcelona. But the light is still nice and sharp, so let's photograph architecture this month. Here's some of my recent trip to England...

Sure, there's Gothic and world-renowned Modernist buildings, but let's focus on some of the more modern structures. Poble Nou seems to have the best collection, so let's meet by the Glories Metro stop between the Barcelona design museum and the Torre Agbar. We can then explore the area, looking for the best buildings (such as the Media Tic and Can Framis buildings).

If you have a tripod, I'd recommend bringing it. Likewise a polarizer. I'm sure there will be a several photographers who'll use this to get a few shots for their portfolios, but everyone is welcome, even if you'll be taking pictures with your phone; our Photowalk is mainly a tremendous way to meet new people in Barcelona! The more the merrier; feel free to bring friends and family and make a sparking afternoon of it.

We're meeting at 3:50pm by the Glories Metro stop between the design museum and Torre Agbar.

There's unlikely to be any cash machines so make sure you have some money. Google maps shows some cool buildings around there so we'll be exploring and looking for pictures.
