Do you struggle to maintain a daily meditation practice? That may be because you are doing it alone.
In fact, a meditation community is considered a prerequisite along the path to mindfulness by traditional Buddhists.
That’s why we’re starting a regular group of meditators to practice together in English.
The group will meet weekly and will include:
- some guided meditation in English
- some unguided meditation
- a reading, and:
- a chance to socialise afterwards over a cup of tea
This group includes beginners as well as experienced meditators and will be led by myself, a trained meditation and mindfulness instructor and for 15 years a Buddhist meditator.
If you are interested in instruction, there are classes on Tuesday evenings. The next "SIT" Introductory Course to Mindfulness Meditation starts on 26th Feb, you can look it up and sign up there.
Initially we are keeping costs low and ask only for voluntary donations.
