Fury is just a couple of weeks away from being released, and Jon will give a live demo and answer questions about his new build tool and dependency manager for Scala, and how he hopes it will reshape the entire Scala ecosystem for the better.

Jon has worked full-time as a Scala developer since 2004, and has been heavily involved in the Scala community for as long as it has existed.

He travels extensively, speaking on a variety of Scala topics at many Scala events worldwide, including talks on his open-source libraries and original research on subjects such as the intricacies of the Scala type system. Jon is currently offering advanced scala.one training courses on the Scala type system.

Jon is a member of the Scala LSP and STP working groups, organizes the Scala World conference, and chairs the Scala Center Advisory Board.
