La ruta de los Cingles de Vallcebre es una de las joyas ocultas del Alt Berguedà, que ofrece la oportunidad de caminar por los impresionantes acantilados de piedra caliza que rodean el pueblo de Vallcebre. Desde aquí, podrás disfrutar de vistas increíbles de las montañas circundantes, como la Sierra del Cadí, el Moixeró, el Catllaràs, Ensija, el Pantano de la Baells, y, por supuesto, el icónico Pedraforca. Este recorrido circular de 13 km está lleno de historias interesantes, desde un trágico accidente aéreo hasta la dura vida en el pueblo antes de que existieran carreteras, e incluso el reconocimiento de la zona como el mayor yacimiento de huellas de dinosaurios de Europa.

Pero no se trata solo de las vistas, este sendero también invita a disfrutar de los pequeños detalles a lo largo del camino. Pasaremos por hermosas pozas naturales donde podremos refrescar nuestros pies y relajarnos en un entorno tranquilo. Esta caminata es la mezcla perfecta de aventura, historia y disfrute puro de la naturaleza.

The Cingles de Vallcebre hike is one of the hidden gems of Alt Berguedà, offering a chance to walk along the stunning limestone cliffs that surround the village of Vallcebre. From here, you’ll get to soak in amazing views of the surrounding mountains, like the Sierra del Cadí, Moixeró, Catllaràs, Ensija, the Baells Reservoir, and, of course, the iconic Pedraforca. This 13 km circular route is packed with interesting stories, from a tragic plane crash to the tough life in the village before roads existed, and even the area’s claim to fame as Europe’s largest dinosaur footprint site.

But it’s not just about the views—this trail is also about enjoying the little things along the way. We’ll pass by beautiful natural pools where we can refresh our feet and relax in the peaceful surroundings. This hike is the perfect mix of adventure, history, and pure enjoyment of nature.
