An incredible opportunity to see the 10-time Grammy Awards winners "The Wooten brothers" during Madrid International Jazz Festival!!!

They made their first public appearance in Hawaii in 1966, cementing their status as musical prodigies. Six years later, in 1973, the Wootens decided to open for a series of concerts featuring some R&B legends, including Curtis Mayfield. Fast-forward to the present, however, and we can see how these brothers have accumulated 10 Grammy Awards and 26 nominations throughout their history. And something that, at a jazz festival, is even more important: the youngest of the family, Victor, the brother who learned from all his older brothers, has been named one of the ten best bassists of all time by Rolling Stone magazine.

They say that some of the best moments for these brothers are experienced at the jazz club named after Rudy, their late brother. Indeed, Rudy's Jazz Room is a live jazz venue located in Nashville, a city that has long had a thriving jazz scene. The Wootens, as a family band, have very few rivals. If anything, perhaps The Beach Boys, The Allman Brothers, Neville Brothers or Jackson Five. They are entertaining people who, on stage, blur styles and genres, connecting the deep past with the musical future.
