Towns of New England: Nashua, NH
Detalles
One for the folks up north! Thanks to GBNP member, Seth Dewey, whose drone photos of Nashua were the original inspiration.
Seth suggests parking in the library lot and walking along the river toward Main Street, getting some shots of the bridge over the Nashua River, before heading down Main Street to City Hall. And, as Jurgen suggested for Fall River:
- Grand views, wide angle
- Look up the buildings, zoom in for architectural details
- Zoom while shooting to create dynamic streaks
- Double. Exposure. Enough said.
- Car trails, blurred people, street photography, all possible
- A longer lens for the longer views (70-100mm is good)
I suggest to bring a variety of lenses in a back pack (don't put your pack on the ground!)
The temperature is forecast to climb to 62 degrees, falling to 41 at night, with some clouds and light wind. Dress in layers, bring gloves, head cover, maybe hot fluids and hand warmers.
Seth's pics were the original inspiration but the reasons for picking this particular Saturday are the relatively mild November weather and the fact that I'm eating dinner at Kettlehead on Main Street, then photographing my friend's metal band afterward. Let me know if you're interested. Also, let me know if you're interested in doing some drone photography - Seth has also given me information about that.
As always, no guests and make sure to check in with the host before moving on.
