Talk description:
In this talk I describe how I reverse-engineered an X-ray file format used in a handheld machine. This enabled us to see and process images of bones and mummies taken in the field. I then used this knowledge to write a converter to the TIFF file format in Go.

About Gorka Guardiola Múzquiz:
Gorka Guardiola Múzquiz, PhD is Lecturer at Rey Juan Carlos University, where he teaches many many many subjects, but his main focus is Operating Systems. He was in the team which developed Plan B, Octopus and Nix and collaborated for many years with Bell Labs on the development of Plan 9, the operating system the team that developed Go worked on before going to Google. He programs regularly in Go and has written a compiler for Picky in Go and ported Go to Plan 9 on the rpi.
