Online discussion of the book HAMNET by Maggie O'Farrell
Detalles
Hi everyone!✨
For our next Reading BEYOND pick, I’d love us to dive into Hamnet by Maggie O’Farrell — a beautifully written, emotionally rich novel inspired by Shakespeare’s family.
It’s also the perfect moment to read it together: the film adaptation is being released in January, so we’ll get to experience the book before seeing how it’s brought to life on screen. 📽✨
If you enjoy fiction, historical stories with heart, or simply want a book that sparks great conversation, I think this will be a wonderful read!
Let me know if you’re in our telegram community— I’d love to have you join! 💛
The online talk is taking place on 4th January (so you've got plenty of time to read it), the link will be in the telegram chat, as always!
To participate in this talk, join our main community in Telegram (and say hi if you want! :) ) - all the relevant links and details/discussions/polls/shared documents are there! Also, it's a great place to maintain the habit of reading and connect with fellow bookclub buddies

MAIN INFO:
I'm an English coach and teacher for adults and a life-long learner, and I host online bookclub and movie discussions for those who love consuming things mindfully (watching and reading), talking about thought-provoking topics, challenging their assumptions and learning something new. All the while using your English, of course!💬🙌 To be able to participate and enjoy the experience it's nice to at least have intermediate level (B2) of English, although the discussions are for everyone who wants to improve their fluency, activate working vocabulary and boost reading and speaking skills!
We meet monthly on Sundays at noon (Barcelona time) online, to chat about a book/ movie / mini-series I propose in advance in our telegram chats. The meeting in Zoom usually lasts around 90-120 minutes, and we continue to chat about it in Telegram several weeks afterwards!
To get updates on the details and connect with like-minded people, please join my Reading and Watching BEYOND communities in telegram
People who come are usually open-minded and fun, some are language nerds or even teachers from all over the world 😊
