• Description of the Hike/Descripción del excursión
• We'll meet outside Vilanova train station at 10.30. We'll walk up into the old part of Vilanova and pass the beautiful, baroque church of Santa Maria before heading up to the start of the route. We'll follow the GR92.4, which is a fairly flat walk along a wide path. It is truly beautiful walking through the many vineyards that line the way which should now be turning their leaves to the lovely warm colours of Autumn. The walk continues on through the countryside, passing many old, pretty masias and at times entering into lush pine forests. As we arrive in Sant Pere, we'll pass the 1,000 year old, historical castle, which is a main feature of the town. We will stop here for lunch and a drink in a bar before heading down to Sitges. You can bring your own food or buy something. You must at least buy a drink to sit in the bar. We'll then start our route down to Sitges passing our last masia, Can Coll with it's amazing architecture. As we approach Sitges we'll also pass the Aerodrome.
• Nos encontraremos fuera de la estación de tren de Vilanova a las 10:30. Caminaremos hasta el casco antiguo de Vilanova y pasaremos por la preciosa iglesia barroca de Santa María antes de subir al inicio de la ruta. Seguiremos el GR92.4, que es un camino bastante llano por un camino ancho. Es realmente hermoso caminar entre los numerosos viñedos que bordean el camino y que ahora deberían estar cambiando sus hojas a los encantadores colores cálidos del otoño. El paseo continúa por el campo, pasando por muchas antiguas y bonitas masías y, a veces, adentrándose en frondosos bosques de pinos. Cuando lleguemos a Sant Pere, pasaremos por el castillo histórico de 1.000 años de antigüedad, que es una característica principal de la ciudad. Nos detendremos aquí para almorzar en un bar. Puedes comprar algo para comer o traer tu propia comida pero debes comprar al menos una bebida. Después bajaremos a Sitges pasando por nuestra última masía, Can Coll con su increíble arquitectura. Cuando acercemos Sitges pasaremos por el aeródromo.
