• Description of the Hike/Descripción del excursión
• We'll meet outside Sitges train station by the bus-stops at 10.30. We'll then head down to the beach and walk right along Passeig Marítim next to the beach, all the way down to the Terramar Hotel. We'll take the GR92, the coastal path that leads to Vilanova. The path is through rocks and scrubland, at times ascending and descending. There are loose stones so you need to wear walking shoes or strong trainers. Walking sticks would help the ascending and descending paths. At times the path is close to the railway track and at times it is a narrow path above the sea. The views of the sea and the many peaceful coves below are quite spectacular. On reaching Vilanova, we'll stop in one of the bars for a drink and to eat our lunch. We'll then continue our route walking to the other end of Vilanova next to the sea. It's a lovely long promenade, lined with trees and parks. Finally, we'll leave Vilanova and start the final part of the coastal walk to Cubelles.

Nos reuniremos fuera de la estación de tren de Sitges, junto a la parada de autobús, a las 10.30. Nos dirigiremos a la playa y caminaremos por el Passeig Marítim junto a la playa, hasta llegar al Hotel Terramar. Tomaremos el GR92, el sendero costero que lleva a Vilanova. Es un camino que atraviesa rocas y matorrales, a veces ascendiendo y descendiendo. Hay piedras sueltas, por lo que es necesario usar zapatos para caminar o zapatillas deportivas resistentes. Los bastones de senderismo ayudarían en los caminos de subida y bajada. A veces el camino está cerca de la vía del tren y otras veces es un sendero estrecho sobre el mar. Las vistas del mar y de las numerosas y tranquilas calas que hay debajo son espectaculares. Al llegar a Vilanova, pararemos en uno de los bares para tomar un refresco y comer la merienda. Luego continuaremos nuestra ruta caminando hasta el otro extremo de Vilanova junto al mar. Es un paseo largo y encantador, bordeado de árboles y parques. Finalmente, saldremos de Vilanova y comenzaremos la parte final del paseo costero hasta Cubelles.
