WILD ABRUZZO EXPERIENCE — Hike to Mt. La Torricella

Overview
Join us for a wild-day hike in Abruzzo, less than 1.5 hours from Rome. We’ll cross a beautiful beech forest, pass a valley with alpine-like scenery, and climb above 2000 m / 6,560 ft for spectacular mountain views. Expect possible encounters with free-roaming horses and cattle — this is genuine wilderness.

• Approx. 4.5 hours hiking (excludes briefing, explanations, and rest breaks)

• Moderate/Difficult: uneven, rocky ground and some steep sections

• Trail format: loop with some variations depending on conditions

What to Bring (must / recommended)

- Sturdy hiking shoes/boots
- Minimum 1.5 L water
- Layered clothing appropriate for hiking, layered clothes and a jacket (including waterproof)
- Packed lunch
