This week instead of coffee, let's try hot pot! Hot pot is a Chinese communal way of eating, most likely originating from Sichuan Province. It involves gathering around a table with a simmering broth in the middle (the "hot pot"). Fresh foodstuffs (vegetables, meats, wrapped goodies, tofu, noodles, etc.) are set around the table, added to the pot, taken out when they're done cooking, and dipped in sauces to enjoy. If you haven't had hot pot, this would be a great chance to try it! Even if you've had hot pot before, I guarantee you will end up trying new things! There will be a vegetarian and a gluten free pot available. This event is open to old and new friends alike, but it is capped at 35 due to space constraints.
The event costs $15 per person. This will be used to cover food, sauce, and supply costs. Expect to pay at the event in cash, through venmo or zelle.
