Greenery in cities is one of the major issues of our time. It can—and must—be addressed at different scales in order to achieve good results, which makes the collaboration of professionals from various fields of knowledge essential. This lecture is part of a series of eight aimed at bringing citizens a plural perspective on urban vegetation, with contributions from experts who will address, among other aspects, its characteristics, properties, advantages, and challenges.

Doctor architect and professor in the Department of Projects at ETSAB (UPC). She has 25 years of professional practice leading Estudi Escalaunouno. She currently teaches in the Landscape Thematic Workshop. Process and Programming. Her reflections in teaching and research focus on the close relationship between vegetation, landscape, the animal world, and the built environment.
