Customer Story: SAFe Siemens Gamesa implementation (event in English)

We want to invite you to a special meetup session in which we will share the lessons learned while working with the Agile transformation of Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy (SGRE). This leading provider of renewable wind energy solutions has developed an ambitious Agile transformation roadmap based on SAFe over the past year. Currently, with the support of Estratecno, they have now 7 agile release trains (ARTs) in operation since Oct 2019, supported by a LACE team (Lean Agile Centre of Excellence) and distributed internationally (Spain, Denmark, India, Germany, United Kingdom ...).

Despite the Pandemic crisis, Siemens Gamesa managed to launch 5 of these trains (ARTs) during the months of May and June of this year, which additionally provided valuable experience in how to successfully organize fully Online trainings and Program Increment Planning’s.

We are privileged to have Mihai Rotariu, Agile Change Agent, and Juan Fernández Díaz, Head of Power Plant Smart Control Unit, both members of the SGRE LACE joining us on December 2nd 2020.

Mihai and Juan, with the support of Alex Menzinsky and Robert Ramírez-Dahlberg, SPCs from Estratecno who participated in the transformation, will tell us about the SAFe experience so far as well as the expectations placed by their company on this transformation, and how it is already delivering great value and improvements.
