TL;DR - After this talk you'll be able to create a Jamstack site in 60 seconds and understand all the concepts and technologies that make that happen.

It's OK to admit it. It can be complicated to get started with the Jamstack. It does not need to be though. For a lot of folks, they learn how to code locally, or in an abstracted emulator like Codecademy, but unless you already have a background in DevOps, what to actually do with this code becomes a whole other mountain of tech to climb.
In this talk, we will take a step back, take a breath, and take in a big picture view of what is going on with managing a Jamstack site. We will boil it all down to just a handful of moving pieces that become a lot more approachable, once we have a clearer conceptual view of things we will take a look at the component parts that make up a Jamstack site, talk through a few concepts, like Content vs Configuration, Git vs API CMS, and Hosting vs Serverless platforms.
I will also talk about how Stackbit has applied these principles to our own platform as well as show off a few new things we have been working on.
This talk is for everyone. While I hope to help newbies understand the Jamstack a little easier, I also hope people who have been building sites for years will walk away with a few new ideas.
