The walking is not steep so walking boots not really essential and cross-trainers are much more comfortable and more restistent to getting blisters. ( I discovered on the last walk) - although rain might be a problem so waterproof ones probably better also bring a poncho.

You can get anti blister stuff from Decathlon or something called gold bond friccion defensa from amazon if you are worried about blisters.

Fortunately there is a backpack forwarding service if like me you cannot carry a load on your back - details here (only 20 euros for all the stages) Its C. Frances route but you have to scroll down to find Portomarin (check the places they deliver /collect from in each place).

Make sure you have adequate insurance / money / phone battery / good walking gear /first aid with you . You may need to bring a sheet for the beds in the albergues if you dont want to rent them (maybe a sleeping bag if no blankets provided

Accomodation prices range from 15 upwards . BOOK SOON IT IS A VERY POPULAR ROUTE. It is better to phone the accomodation than use booking.com in some places as they are cheaper and have more places than booking.

Booking the accommodation (where possible) is your responsibility so if you are considering coming please confirm soon to avoid disappointment.

You can start at any stage but let me know when and where.

Lots of planning but well worth the outcome.

Hope to see some of you come on board.
