Lesbians 60+ and their lesbian friends gather for social, cultural, adventure activities. No more mountain climbing or backward skateboarding, this group will have an easy going approach to enrich body, mind and soul. Walks, movies, day trips, museums, social get togethers, garden tours and anything that strikes our fancy. Based in East Bay but will explore all areas.
Meetup Group Membership Policy - New
To ensure a welcoming and secure community for all members, we are now requiring the following for new membership approval:
-
Profile Photo Requirement – All members must have a clear photo of themselves on their Meetup profile. If you are unable to post a photo, you must send a message explaining why.
-
Questionnaire Completion – Two membership questions must be answered before approval. The other three questions are optional. This helps us maintain an engaged and like-minded community.
Failure to meet these requirements may result in delayed approval or denial of membership.
Thank you for your cooperation in creating a safe and inclusive space for everyone!
This is a member-active group, and we invite and welcome you to post/host events.
We look forward to you joining us!
NO SHOW POLICY: If you or your guest are a no-show at any event, it may affect your ability to attend the next event you sign up for.
Specifically, if you or your guest are a no-show for any event after November 2024, if you are attending an event that fills up and has a waitlist, you will be moved from attending to the waitlist.
Of course, if the waitlisted individuals are able to attend because of others not attending, you will also be accommodated.
This policy includes guests because they take a spot, and no-shows impact both event planning and those on the waitlist. So it is suggested that you encourage your guests to sign up for themselves, so if they don’t show up, it doesn’t affect you.
Please note: This adjustment will only be made ONCE after the first no-show.
It hasn’t yet been decided what to do for repeated no shows.
This policy is in place to encourage everyone to update their RSVP in a timely manner, allowing hosts to plan effectively and giving others the chance to attend.
DISCLAIMER: The organizers and leaders of this group are volunteers, not professionals. Hosts who offer their homes do so solely for the enjoyment of all attendees. By participating in any event, you, along with any guests you bring, agree to hold no one liable for any injury or accident that may occur during or after the event. Please ensure your guests are aware of this policy, as everyone is responsible for their own safety.

Ver todo- Women's Private Whale Charter ~Amazing Whales Now! Pre payment requiredSanctuary Cruises, Moss Landing, CA
Our last Whale Watching Event for Women On April 19th was amazing!
So many whales in Monterey Bay right now! An early cruise helps us beat the spring winds and we can have lunch together afterwards.
Join us back on the water on a private cruise for women aboard "The Sanctuary" out of Moss Landing on May 10th, mother's day weekend. Bring a favorite Mom!
For our May 10th Private Cruise for Women Go to the green "Book a Local Tour" button at www.bluewaterventures.org. scroll down and select the women’s private cruise.
Full details here: https://bluewaterventures.org/tour/whales-and-wildlife-private-cruise-for-wome/
We continue to take 50% fewer passengers on board the Sanctuary to give everyone plenty of room on our vessel, just 20 plus crew, boat capacity is 39 + crew.
Once the word gets out, these private whale watching charters for women often sell out quickly, so please don’t delay in registering for these great events on the water. Our roster is building as summer weather improves.
Departing from South Moss Landing Harbor, we hope to encounter a variety of whales, dolphins, pinnipeds and seabirds all while enjoying the comfort of our 43 foot vessel The Sanctuary, based in Moss Landing Harbor. We are very hopeful to see California Gray whales during the height of their south migration to the lagoons of Baja. We could encounter Humpback whales that are known for their "friendly behavior" where a whale chooses to come along side our vessel for a closer look.
Though not on every cruise, such intimate wildlife encounters have been described by past clients as “life altering”. Refunds are given when cancellations are made at least 21 days in advance of trip date. Space on the roster is guaranteed when payments are received and in the order that we receive them. We hope you can join us on this thrilling naturalist-led day with our local marine mammals.
