Madrid English Classics is a friendly book club for lovers of classic literature, hosted in the north of Madrid (Las Tablas). We meet once a month, to discuss iconic works from the English literary canon—from Austen and Dickens to Baldwin and Woolf—and explore the stories, themes, and historical contexts that shaped them.
Whether you're a native speaker or an advanced English learner with a passion for timeless novels and thoughtful conversation, you're welcome here. Each session includes a discussion (in English), and plenty of time to share your insights over tea and biscuits.
