Sutta Study & Meditation (Monthly Saturday Session)
Detalles
This monthly session offers an opportunity to encounter the Buddha’s teachings directly through the early texts - the suttas, bringing us as close as possible to his original words.
These texts were written down over 2,000 years ago and preserve the teachings in their earliest form.
We begin with a 20-minute guided meditation. We then read a selected sutta together, unpacking the text and its key teachings, and considering how they apply in practice. There is also space for reflection and occasional discussion.
No prior familiarity with the suttas is required. The session is open to anyone interested in engaging with the early teachings.
