De qué se trata
Este grupo es para toda la gente a la que le gusta el senderismo y conocer nuevos sitios en buena compania.
Las rutas se hacen cerca de Malaga y son accesibles con transporte publico. Si vienes de fuera de Malaga ciudad o en coche podemos quedar al comienzo de la ruta.
No hay limite de edad pero se require estar en forma y poder andar varias horas sin quedarse sin aliento. El nivel de dificultad de cada marcha se indicara en la descripcion de la ruta.
Y como en Malaga viven mucha gente de fuera podemos hablar en espanol o en ingles, lo que te resulte mas comodo. Asi que si te gusta practicar el ingles aqui tendras oportunidades.
This group is for anybody who likes hiking and discovering new places in good company.
The routes are around Malaga city and they are accessible by public transport. If you are coming from outside Malaga or you are driving we can meet you at the start of the route.
There is no age limit but you need to have some degree of fitness, and be able to walk for several hours without feeling breathless. The level of each hike will be specified for each route.
And due to the size of the expat community in Malaga we can talk in Spanish or in English, whatever you find easier. So if you want to practice your Spanish you will have opportunities here.

Este evento tiene dos partes: primero habrá visita a la Cueva de Nerja, declarada Bien de Interés Cultural en 2006, y a continuación tomaremos el sendero GR-242 que comienza muy cerca de la cueva. Frigiliana es uno de los pueblos más bonitos de Andalucía, y podremos disfrutarlo después de un bien merecido tentempié.
Aquellos que no estén interesados en ver la Cueva de Nerja pueden unirse al grupo cuando acabe la visita para hacer el sendero.

Tipo de Ruta: Lineal, comienza y termina en diferentes localidades.
Distancia: 14.7 kms
Dificultad: Media-alta (desniveles totales de más de 600 ms)
Punto de encuentro y hora para visita a la cueva de Nerja:
Estación de autobuses de Málaga, 9:00am para coger el autobús de las 9:15am a la Cueva de Nerja. El autobús llega a la cueva a las 10:45am, asi que las personas que no vayan en autobús desde Málaga pueden presentarse a esa hora alli.
La entrada a la cueva está prevista para las 11:00am (es mejor comprar por adelantado). Entradas generales a partir de 16,60€ pero dependiendo de edad y otros factores puede ser más barato, consultar:

Punto de encuentro y hora para la caminata:
12:30pm a la entrada de la cueva. Allí esperaremos a que salga el resto de la gente, y la caminata empezará a la 1:00pm.
Punto y hora de finalización: Frigiliana, a partir de las 7:00pm. La ruta en sí es de unas 5 horas, a las que hay que añadir paradas para descansar y comer.
Desde Frigiliana hay autobuses a Nerja (Horario de autobúses Frigiliana-Nerja - Web oficial del Ayuntamiento de Frigiliana), y de Nerja autobuses de vuelta a Málaga.
Qué llevar: Botas de senderismo buenas y cómodas, protector solar, agua (al menos 2 litros pero recomiendo 3-4 litros si hace sol) y comida para el día. No hay sitios donde comprar agua o comida en la ruta. Por favor traed una bolsa de plástico o algún contenedor para tirar restos, no hay papeleras en la ruta.
Coste:
El bono de tres viajes Málaga-Nerja Cueva de Alsa cuesta 8,20€, es más barato que el billete de ida y vuelta (Hasta donde tú quieras. Soluciones de movilidad - Alsa).
El autobús Frigiliana -Nerja cuesta 2,50€ (Horario de autobúses Frigiliana-Nerja - Web oficial del Ayuntamiento de Frigiliana).
El precio de las entradas a la cueva depende de tu edad y circunstancias, el precio general son 16,50€ ("Cueva de Nerja - Descubre una Maravilla Natural en Andalucía | Visitas y Eventos).
Aparte de eso necesitarás dinero para pagar por la bebida y comida que quieras consumir en Frigiliana o Nerja.

This event has two parts: First there will be a visit to the Nerja Cave, declared of Cultural Interest in 2006, and then we will take the GR-242 path that starts very close to the cave. Frigiliana is one of the prettiest villages in Andalucia, and we can enjoy it after a well deserved snack. Those who are not interested in seeing the Nerja Cave can join the group when the tour is over.

Type of Route: Linear, it starts and finishes in different locations.
Distance: 14.7 kms
Difficulty: Medium-high (total distance between low and high points more than 600 ms)
Meeting point and time to visit the Nerja Cave:
Málaga bus station, 9:00am to catch the 9:15am bus to the Nerja Cave. The bus arrives at the cave at 10:45am, so people who are not going by bus from Málaga can show up there at that time.
The entrance to the cave is scheduled for 11:00am (it is better to buy in advance). General tickets cost from €16.50 but depending on age and other factors it may be cheaper, see link above
Meeting point and start time for the walk: 12:30pm at the entrance of the cave. We will wait there for anybody still inside the cave, and the walk will start at 1:00pm.
End point and time: Frigiliana, from 7:00pm. The route itself is about 5 hours, to which we must add stops to rest and eat. From Frigiliana there are buses to Nerja (Horario de autobúses Frigiliana-Nerja - Web oficial del Ayuntamiento de Frigiliana), and from Nerja we will take the bus back to Málaga.
Cost:
The Málaga-Nerja Cueva de Alsa three-trips bono costs €8.20, it is cheaper than the return ticket (Hasta donde tú quieras. Soluciones de movilidad - Alsa).
Frigiliana-Nerja bus costs €2.50 (see link above).
Nerja Cave ticket prices depend on your age and circumstances, the general price is €16.50 (see link above).
Apart from that you will need money to pay for the drink and food you want to consume in Frigiliana or Nerja.
