Hi, hiking lover! Ready for a hike that blends nature, adventure, and Andalusian charm?
Join us on the River Chíllar Waterways 🌳, a beautiful route through the Axarquía region near Nerja. The trail begins with peaceful forest paths surrounded by lush greenery. As we follow the ancient acequias (irrigation channels), we’ll walk beside the gentle flow of the Chíllar River. The path then becomes wilder as we ascend toward Cerro Juan Bueno, a more adventurous stretch with fewer footsteps on the trail. 🧗♀️ At the top, we’ll be rewarded with breathtaking views!

Tips for a great hike
- 🥾 Shoes: Hiking shoes with good grip are a must!
- 💧 Hydration & snacks: At least 2L of water, plus snacks or a light lunch to keep your energy up.
- 🧢 Sun protection: Sunscreen, hat, and sunglasses – especially for the sunny stretches.
