Sunset over Málaga Hike & Storytelling
Do you want to discover the most breathtaking sunset spot overlooking Málaga?🌅 Do you enjoy hiking and want to explore nearby routes?⛰️ Do you have an interest in communication and want to learn the art of storytelling alongside very interesting people and hear some of their unique stories?🗣️ Then we invite you to join us on another unique experience, this time a sunset hike with a storytelling workshop.
Who are we?
We are a young and energetic public speaking, communication and leadership club full of interesting people looking to reach out to people living in Málaga and its surroundings by inviting you to join us on unique experiences so you can get to know the club and its people in a more laid back, fun, and casual way.
So, what's the plan?
Join us on a hike up to the Cerro de San Antón and Cruz de San Antón, a place with spectacular views of the sunset, where we will give a small storytelling workshop, and do some improv storytelling speeches.
When?:
Wednesday 13 of May 2026 from 19:00-22:00, suggested arrival: 18:45.
Where precisely?: "Entrada Este Monte San Antón".
Hike details:
It is a Medium difficulty/moderate hike, 3.9Km, 263m Elevation, should take around 2h (moving it is 1h10').
You will need:
Good physical health (Important), we recommend hiking sticks (especially if you don't have good balance), good comfortable shoes (preferably hiking shoes), a jacket for when the sun has set and in case it is windy at that time (WEATHER UPDATE: IT WILL BE CHILLI (might go down to 16°C + wind), DO NOT FORGET A JACKET AND LONG PANTS or similar), enough water (quite some elevation & maybe heat), and snacks for on the way. If you want to bring some food to eat at the viewpoint as a light dinner feel free. Also, it might be quite hot at the beginning, so we recommend using sunscreen. It is beautifully filled with flowers due to Spring, so if you have allergies we recommend taking necessary medication for it.
How to get there?: Best: private car/carpooling/Über. Contact us, we might be able to organize a pick up from a specific location from some guests with a car.
Bicycle/electric scooter is possible but keep in mind the starting point is relatively high up.
Public transport options: There are buses that go to El Palo area, Lines 3,8 and 11 ("Iglesia" stop) and then there is Line 29 ("Villafuerte", very close to the other stop) that goes up to Pinares de San Antón; do organize accordingly because it only passes every half hour. From the Cedros stop (Line 29) you can either walk (30'~) to the beginning of the hike, or some people might be able to pick you up. Get in contact with us and we can recommend options.
We would love for you to join us on what will be an unique experience, feel free to bring a friend if you aren't sure about coming alone! Sign up and let's make this unforgettable experience a reality 🥳💪🏼
