Creatures Comedy is a bar below Wilson's Social.
Stairs at both entrances so be mindful on the way down.
You get a seat and can buy a drink from the bar if desired.

Half-time break is after the first 3 x 20 min sets.
There are 6 amateur/semi-professional acts plus a host.

Optional: You can write something on a slip and they may read it out.
Nothing serious as you may get roasted for it!

Tickets are £ 4.00 in the venue, at the door, on the day.
Card payments only.

Bus: 5 min walk to Piccadilly Gardens or Shudehill
Train: 10 mins walk to Piccadilly or Victoria Stations

Moxy are the fun division of Marriott Hotels.
There's giant jenga, a pool table and a 3 m tall stuffed bear 🧸

They also have outside seating on a pedestrianised street if dry.
Come for a chat, explore somewhere new and relax in the city.

There's no event after this as I work as bar staff nearby.
If you're anxious, ask the bar staff, they know me by name 😊

Bus: 15 min walk to Piccadilly Gardens

The Fletcher Moss pub is our starting spot.
It's cosy with a decent outside space.
From here we'll walk through Didsbury Park.

Then down to Fletcher Moss Botanical Gardens.
There's a cafe, seating and bathrooms in the gardens.
We can lounge and do short walks (20 mins).

There's also a route along the River Mersey.
Some may wish to walk to Jackson's Boat (2 hours).
There's a tram stop near the pub there too (Sale).

It's up to the group what we do on the day.
There's no pressure, they're just options.

Tram: 2 mins walk from Didsbury Village
Train: 15 mins walk from East Didsbury
Bus: 42/142 takes an hour from the city centre.

Depot is an expansive climbing gym.
Bouldering can be either a social or a solo activity.

It's helped my weight-loss and been fun to explore.
I've made some new friends there and met some from here.

Tram: 10 mins walk from Parkway.
Bus: 248 Manchester Airport to Eccles.

Safety Info

Never climb higher than you feel safe.
The top hold in each route is a goal, not a requirement.
There's crash mats if you fall off, but injuries are possible.
