[Postponed] Hidden Maresme: Mines, Towers & Forest Trails

Discover a different side of the Maresme coast — far from the crowds, where nature, history, and local stories come together.

This guided walk takes you from Santa Susanna into the surrounding hills, following peaceful forest trails and uncovering hidden spots that most visitors never see.

Along the way, we’ll explore:

• 🏰 Torre Montagut – an old watchtower with panoramic views of the coast
• ⛏️ Can Palomeres Mines – a forgotten industrial site now reclaimed by nature
• 🏡 Masia de Can Palomeres – a glimpse into traditional rural life

You’ll hear stories about:

• Pirate attacks and coastal defense
• Life in traditional Catalan farmhouses (masies)
• The mining history of the area
• How this region transformed into a tourist destination

We finish back in Malgrat de Mar, where the mountains meet the sea.
