Welcome🎉 ! Meet and Hike ATX is a vibrant social outdoor club for like-minded individuals who love to hike, socialize, explore the outdoors, and create lasting connections! 🤝
Below is our event format:
- 👋 Quick Introductions + a Fun Ice-Breaker Question
- 🥾 Group Hike (4 to 7.5 miles)
- ☕ Social Gathering at a Local Café, Coffee Shop, or Brunch Spot
Participation Terms & Member License Agreement-
To help maintain a safe, inclusive, and transparent environment, all members of Meet and Hike ATX (“the Group”) must have a clear profile photo and use their real name on their Meetup account. Members who do not meet this requirement will be removed from the Group.
By joining the Group and participating in any of its events, you agree to the terms outlined in the Member License Agreement (“Agreement”) available at the link below.

This Agreement governs your participation in the Group’s events and activities, including but not limited to hiking, outdoor recreation, and social gatherings. Your membership and attendance at any event constitutes acceptance of this Agreement.
Whether you're new to Austin or a longtime local looking to expand your social circle, this group is all about genuine connections, engaging conversations, and shared experiences. ☺️
We are a friendly hiking club that meets every other weekend for relaxed yet energizing hikes in and around the Austin area. We hike every other Saturday and Sunday, covering 4 to 7.5 miles per hike — perfect for getting your steps in while enjoying nature and good company. Our hikes vary in location to keep things fresh and exciting, from Greenbelt gems to Hill Country favorites. Our trail leaders are quite experienced and seasoned, with a combined experience of hosting over 500+ hikes across Central Texas and Austin. ⛰️🌿📈
But we’re more than just hikers—we’re a community. After each hike, we gather at a local cafe, coffee shop, or brunch spot to unwind, connect, and refuel. So lace up your boots, bring your water bottle, and let’s hit the trails—and grab a bite after! 😋

Exploring Mount Lakeway Trail
Canyonlands/Mt. Lakeway Trail, 187 Trophy Dr, Lakeway, TX, USHello! Check out this beautiful, moderate 4.5-mile Out-and-back Custom trail, just 40 minutes from the Domain in Austin. It should take us approximately 2.5 hours to complete.
After the hike, we’ll be heading to Café Lago for our post-hike social!

Flower Moon Hike 💐
Kreig Softball Complex, 515 Pleasant Valley road, Austin, TX, USHey y'all! We’re heading out for a hike around Lady Bird Lake and Town Lake — a scenic 6.3-mile loop at an easy pace. 🌅✨

NEW PARKING LOCATION !! Park at the north end of Kreig field out east of South Pleasant Valley Rd. We’ll start at the Lady Bird Lake Hike & Bike Trail at the new pedestrian tunnel under South Pleasant Valley Rd. next to Kreig Field 7, passing through the tunnel and across the new pedestrian bridge to the north shore. We will continue West, crossing the river at 1st Street (Drake) Bridge — a perfect spot to catch views of the water and maybe even see Austin’s famous bats in action! 🦇
We’ll continue along the Ann and Roy Butler Boardwalk, and back through the tunnel to the parking lot.🍻 Post-Hike Social:
We’ll head to Lustre Pearl East (114 Linden St, Austin, TX 78702) to unwind. It has outdoor seating and free parking — feel free to join us!49 asistentes
