The speaker will be Marc González, Director of Data at Factorial.

Data Products Factorial serve entire web features that are queryable in 50 milliseconds, take 7 seconds to update, enabled by a data team of 1 for every 20 developers at an operating cost under 100$ a day. Wondering what it takes to make it possible?

In recent years Factorial has been capturing processes of companies and automating them, so you don’t have to. The next step is to help them make better decisions.

In this talk we will dig into how Factorial is leveraging a Data Mesh to solve the most analytical demanding engineering challenges for this upcoming phase.

Join us to discover what kind of features are we building around first class data products and how we organised both our architecture and organisation to support such a feat. Governance included!

Lastly we will explain how Metabolic, our open source transformation layer for the data mesh, written in Spark, works and how you can use it in your organisations with a few clicks.

We will address these topics in one hour together and we will then dedicate some time for Q&A and networking. Of course, with food and drinks, as always.
