Classic Novels: Robinson Crusoe
Detalles
We'll discuss Robinson Crusoe by Daniel Defoe (#65 on our list). Published in 1719, this story of being shipwrecked on a deserted island was inspired by the real life story of castaway Alexander Selkirk, who survived four years on an island in the Pacific. Amazon called it "a pioneering work of realist fiction." Barnes & Noble says it "is one of the most popular and influential adventure stories of all time." Read more here.
