Outdoor Lovers Bucks-Mont Adventures

We'll meet at the Hawk Observation deck. It's near the entrance to parking lot #5.

We'll walk along the Green Ribbon and Wissahickon Trails until they end at West Valley Green Road. Google says this is 2.3 miles one way. We'll follow the same path back, so close to 5 miles total.

This is a fairly easy walk on a trail that is either crushed stone or pavement. There are some hills.

We'll be mostly walking on sidewalks through quiet neighborhood streets. There are a lot of beautiful old houses in the area. There are also nice trees and several small parks. We may be able to visit Curtis Arboretum, though it is often reserved for weddings, so we might have to make do with looking in from the outside.

We'll meet at the Jenkintown-Wyncote train station on the side facing the park. I'll be wearing my usual bright orange hat. If you have trouble finding us you can call me at 774-249-2494.

There is (paid) parking at the station and on the surrounding neighborhood streets, or you can be green and take the train.
