A relaxed, beginner-friendly run/walk social focused on movement, community and feeling better.

This is not a serious running club for elite athletes, nor is it a hardcore bootcamp. The idea is simple: get outside, move your body, meet good people and build healthier habits in a supportive environment.

We’ll cover around 4k together using a structured run/walk format guided by qualified personal trainer Mike Maddox, with regular walk breaks so nobody feels left behind or under pressure.

This group is designed for adults who are comfortable walking for around an hour and want to improve their fitness in a relaxed, social way.

Meeting point: End of Rambla Poble Nou, as you enter the park on your way to the beach

Rules / Schedule:
We stay together as a group. We begin with a warm-up walk before moving into light jogging intervals with regular walking breaks, depending on the level of the group. There is no set pace and no competition. We move, walk, jog and chat together.

After the session, we’ll cool down, stretch, and maybe grab a coffee nearby for anyone who wants to stay and socialise.

A short health questionnaire must be completed before attending.
