We are back again with another meetup of the "Community Edition Talks", this time our community members will talk about real experiences with Event Sourcing and Kubernetes.

Agenda:

18:45 - 19:30
#"Where is my relational database? Event Sourcing from the trenches"

Event Sourcing is a pattern for persisting our application data, but instead of storing it as a mutable relational model, we persist all the changes in our system as a inmutable stream of events. We will see an introduction of how this work, advantages, disadvantages, and I will share some of my experience working with Event Sourcing in a production environment.

19:40 - 20:20
#"Built from inside CI/CD with Kubernetes, Jenkins and Helm"

Continuous Integration, Deployment and Delivery are not new concepts but still quite misunderstood in a lot of organisations. We will see how the CI and CD must be built since the very beginning from inside the project and shouldn’t be delayed for later implementation by the called “devops team”. We will see which tools can help us in that journey, for instance, docker, jenkins, kubernetes and helm.
