OBAJ Songwriter Circle @ Ormond Beach Library Auditorium
Detalles
Elliott Kayne will be hosting another Songwriter Circle at the Ormond Beach Library Auditorium on March 29 from 1-4PM.
Whether you're into blues, jazz, rock, or folk, this event is for musicians and music enthusiasts alike. Bring your acoustic guitar and songwriting skills to share with the group or simply enjoy the group's singing and acoustic music. If you or your guest are just attending to listen, there is no need to RSVP for yourself or the listening guest (only players need to RSVP). Listeners are asked to sit outside the players circle.
These sessions will feature original acoustic music only. We will sit in traditional circle jam style and take turns going around the circle however it will be slightly different than typical OBAJ jams. We will ask that you respect each songwriter's space & song so participation in others songs is not desired or will be very limited and strictly up to the person presenting their song. Depending on number of participants, lead breaks may be kept to a minimum. Also please limit length of songs to 3 minutes or less, no epic album tracks.
These songwriters sessions are a showcase for the songwriter's talents and therefore the amount of collaboration with other musicians is up to the person performing. Some people may wish to get feedback, ideas for lyrical development, new harmonizations, or want others to play along, while others simply want to perform their works, it's always the songwriter's choice.
Join us at this intimate gathering to connect with like-minded individuals who share a passion for original acoustic music.
