Salida: 9:00 a.m. desde la Plaza de la Marina (Av. Manuel Agustín Heredia)
Regreso: aproximadamente a las 7:00 p.m. en la Plaza de la Marina (con una parada previa en El Palo – Iglesia)
Precio: 30€ (que incluye transporte en autobús y seguro de excursión)
Durante el viaje, haremos lo posible por asignar parejas para intercambio de idiomas en el autobús y también fomentaremos el intercambio libre durante toda la excursión, ¡una oportunidad perfecta para practicar y aprender!
Sobre la ruta Cahorros de Monachil:

• Es una ruta circular de 8,2 kilómetros que dura aproximadamente 2 horas y 15 minutos.
• Pasaremos por puentes colgantes, un canal de agua junto a imponentes paredes de roca, un túnel en la cueva de las Palomas, una cascada y caminos de montaña.
• Dificultad: Baja, aunque en algunos momentos hay que agacharse o gatear (unos pocos metros).
• No apto para personas con vértigo: especialmente por el puente colgante de 63 metros de largo.

Qué debes llevar:

• Comida y agua (se recomienda llevar al menos un litro; encontraremos algunas fuentes en el camino).
• Protección solar, gorra, zapatos deportivos y ropa cómoda.

Join us for an exciting trip to the Cahorros de Monachil! Here's all the information you need to make the most of this adventure:
Departure: 9:00 a.m. from Plaza de la Marina (Av. Manuel Agustín Heredia)
Return: approximately 7:00 p.m. to Plaza de la Marina (with a stop earlier in El Palo – Iglesia)
Price: €30 (includes bus transportation and travel insurance)
During the journey, we will do our best to pair participants for language exchange on the bus, and we’ll encourage free interaction throughout the trip—an excellent opportunity to practice and learn!
About the Cahorros de Monachil route:

• It’s a circular trail of 8.2 kilometers, lasting about 2 hours and 15 minutes.
• You’ll pass over hanging bridges, alongside a water canal flanked by towering rock walls, through a tunnel in the Palomas Cave, past a waterfall, and along mountain paths.
• Difficulty: Low, though there are moments where you’ll need to bend down or crawl (just a few meters).
• Not suitable for those with vertigo: especially because of the 63-meter-long hanging bridge.

What to bring:

• Food and water (at least one liter recommended; we’ll find some sources along the way).
• Sunscreen, hat, comfortable sports shoes, and casual clothing.
