PowerFit Boxing is a full-power, outdoor workout that focus on boxing techniques.
This group is only for dudes (women can check out my other group https://www.meetup.com/de-DE/HIIT-Boxing-for-Women/ (https://www.meetup.com/de-DE/HIIT-Boxing-for-Women/))). We will focus on technique and the quality of our boxing combinations. This class is for all guys interested in learning how to box in a fun and challenging way. We will sweat, we will scream, we will fight our minds and body.
We start with an active 5-10-minute warm-up, followed by 40 minutes of High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) based on boxing combinations and exercises. We wrap-up with a few stretches at the end.
High-intensity interval training is a type of workout based on brief but full-energy exercises separated by rest periods that you’ll wish were a bit longer (for example, 60 seconds of boxing combinations followed by a 10-second rest).
HIIT has been scientifically shown to help people lose fat, stay lean, improve cardio and strengthen muscle ( https://en.ikipedia.org/wiki/High-intensity_interval_training ).
So, if you are a woman in Barcelona looking to:
- tone and sculpt your body
- lose fat
- improve coordination
- strengthen your core, and
- release stress
Each class is €10 (package deal of €35 for 5 classes within one month. You can join all courses). I provide gloves and pads but feel free to bring your own wraps, gloves, towel and exercise matt. Don’t forget to bring water! If you’re new, please come 15 minutes earlier to discuss your goals!
