'I Swear' on Friday 5.6 at 20 at Kino Lucerna

Join us on Friday, June 5th, for a screening of
I Swear at Kino Lucerna. The film begins at 20:30.

You’ll find me (wearing a bright pink/flowery scarf) at the Lucerna café (Kavárna Lucerna, on the first floor) from 8 pm.

The 2025 movie from director Kirk Jones chronicles the life of John Davidson who ‘[g]rowing up with Tourette syndrome in a small Scottish town in the mid-1980s, … fights the odds to eventually become a trail-blazing, decorated activist and advocate for his peers in the United Kingdom’ (here).

The movie, which is based on a true story, has enjoyed a warm reception by audiences and critics alike, with particular praise reserved for leading actor Robert Aramayo, who, among other accolades, won two BAFTA awards for his performance.

Come enjoy this screening and stay for a drink and a chat about the film afterward!
