2\. Achieving SLA & Cost Goals: Maintained zero downtime and SLA during migration; optimised costs via shard reallocation\, node reduction\, and static index templates\.

3\. OpenSearch Storage & Performance Tuning: Migrated ILM to ISM with size/age\-based rollover policies; resolved Fluentd backpressure data loss via S3 → SQS → Vector\.dev buffer\, enabling zero log loss and further node consolidation\.
